Ferguson Craig Lawyers has assisted EG Developments and Stronach to complete a large scale mixed use development on the corner of King and Bolton Streets in Newcastle’s East End.
Herald Apartments commenced in November 2011 with all 116 residential apartments selling off the plan within a few short months. The team from Ferguson Craig provided titling and structuring advice, prepared a tailored off the plan sales contract together with a strata management statement and both residential and commercial by-laws.
The project settled in March 2019 with around 75% of the 116 apartments settling on the one day. The settlement process went extremely smoothly thanks to the attention to detail and pro-active approach from the Ferguson Craig projects team. All but two apartments settled electronically with Ferguson Craig using the PEXA Projects platform to assist with the sheer volume of settlements.
